Summer 2024
Indigo Collection
The dyeing technique known as Clamp Dye typically involves folding, bunching, and tying the fabric. Tight areas will resist dyeing and remain white, creating distinct patterns formed by their contrast with the applied color. Traditionally, the cloth is dyed with indigo, a pigment extracted from the leaves of the bush known as Indigofera tinctoria, which is one of the oldest dyes and produces the most unique and exuberant blue color known to the day.
